Repairs & Maintenance Officer
Flexible position: Casual or Part Time
As we prepare for a busy event season ahead, Olympic Party Hire are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance and Repairs person to join our team. Ideally, someone with some knowledge or interest in electronics would be a bonus.
We are a flexible, family-owned and operated business seeking someone with passion in their field, ready to hit the ground running in our fast-paced workplace.
This position would be great for a student wanting to kick start their career in a dynamic environment, or someone who has experience but is looking for their next challenge.
Join our fantastic repairs team, working on a diverse range of party hire products and equipment.
Responsibilities and duties include:
- Assist our maintenance & repairs team in fixing hire items, general maintenance and upkeep of products
- Apply your skills to fix and problem solve products
- Create ways to better improve products
- Assist our admin team in repair/troubleshooting support
- Contribute to the upkeep of a clean and organised work environment
Qualifications & skills include:
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Good knowledge in general repairs
- Mechanical knowledge and electrical diagnosis skills is a bonus
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- General handyman skills – confidence in using most hand and power tools
- Great communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and efficiently resolve multiple issues
